So, as you can probably tell by the title, I'm going to take a Christmas / New Year Break from my blog. I have LOTS that I'm working on for the new year, which I'm so excited for you to see! But, I also have a lot of catching up to do since having Rosalie.
I was so frustrated with myself the other day for not getting my vlogs edited or for not cranking out fun, new blog posts like I wanted to but then I realized something. Moms who work get at least a few weeks off after having a baby. Blogging may seem like something that I could just do whenever I want. It may seem like not much effort goes into sitting at your computer typing things. But? Blogging is SO much more than that. I didn't realize until I started Mrs. & Mommy that it takes, time, skill, an eye for good editing, and lots of creativity. Same with editing vlogs. When you throw a newborn and a toddler into the mix it gets tricky. Realistically, I can't expect myself to keep going at the same pace I was before having Rosalie. So? I'm going to do my best to catch up on editing my vlogs, get some new, fun posts ready for you guys, and maybe even giving my website a new look. I can't wait! Oh! And a New Year giveaway of some sort... :) :) :)
I'll be officially back in the first week of 2016.
for some awesome posts including monthly baby updates (with a photo shoot for each one), more recipes, St. Valentine's Day date/gift ideas, recipes, and other goodies.
By the way - I think I'll definitely repost some old blog posts in the meantime so that my blog isn't totally filled with cobwebs until January. Those will also be posted on my Facebook page so make sure you "LIKE" my page by clicking
HERE. The vlogs I finish editing will also be posted here and on my Facebook as well.
Basically, I'm just not creating new blog content again until January. Haha I know...I said I'm taking a break but I'm totally not. There will still be stuff up on my site, just not new blog content. That's a better way of putting it I guess.

Hey there, everyone!
I know it's been a while since I last posted here on my website but LOTS has been going on. If you don't follow me on social media then you might not have heard about my time in the hospital about a week and a half ago. Basically, the preeclampsia I had during my pregnancy didn't go away after I delivered Rosalie so I just had to have some treatment for my high blood pressure.
I'm working on an entire blog post detailing my preeclampsia experience and it'll be up soon! You can also see my stay in the hospital on my upcoming vlog going up on my YouTube channel. (Click here to go check it out!)
I just need to ask all of you for some patience with me as I get back into the swing of things since having Rosalie. Especially because I was in the hospital again last week, I got so behind on posting, editing and writing fir my blog, AND editing my vlogs. Plus, I'm a new mom of a newborn and a toddler (who has been sick). I'm not trying to make excuses but I just need to set my priorities straight - I'm a mom first, a wife, and then a blogger/vlogger. I will do my very very very best to post here on my blog and get my vlogs up but like I said...please be patient with me!
Thank you for understanding!
I love you all and thank you so much for your support and for your sweet congratulations on Rosalie's birth.
Have a wonderful day!
I had our second, sweet, little girl last week and caught it on camera! If you love tiny, adorable, squishy newborns you definitely have to see this vlog!
Make sure to subscribe HERE to my YouTube channel so you don't miss any of my vlogs! (The SUBSCRIBE button is on the right side of my channel.)
And no, there is no actual birth or painful labor footage in this vlog. It is completely family friendly and focuses on our time together as a new family of four. I wanted to make sure I protected my modesty as well as not embarrass little Rosalie by putting everything out there for the world to see. Although I found it helpful to see different birth vlogs and birth footage while I was pregnant to help me prepare for my own delivery, I don't feel comfortable providing that for others.
Thanks for understanding! :)
Let me know what you think of the vlog!
Have a wonderful day!
If you're a mom you know how it is...
You hit 37 weeks in your pregnancy and you're immediately impatient to just have your baby already! You want to snuggle that sweet little newborn...aaaand you want to be able to walk and move and feel like a normal human being. Hahaha am I right? Well I was getting pretty down in the dumps about still being pregnant because I was just so large and uncomfortable.
Definitely watch if you want to see what happens!
Have a great day!
