Sooo I don't know about you guys but I get the absolute worst dry skin during the winter. I get random patches on my arms and torso. And if I dare get out of the shower and skip my facial moisturizer then my face will itch and drive me crazy until I apply some. Anyone else?
My husband Tom also gets horribly dry hands - as do I. It's no fun.
Luckily, you follow a blog called Mrs. & Mommy where we show you juuuust how to combat the flaky awfulness that is dry skin. ;)
Moisturization is so important in the winter especially so definitely take care of your skin if you want it to be healthy and look healthy for longer.
In this article I'll give you a list of the best of all the different types of body, hair, facial...etc. moisturizers. Plus, I'll tell you where to get a drugstore option for those of you on a stricter budget and a high-end option for those of you who have a little bit more $$$$$ to spend.
I also want to say that drinking lots of water is essential to keeping your entire body healthy and hydrated. The look of your skin and hair depend on the amount of water you drink. It's something I'm not very good at. I definitely need to drink more water myself! That, combined with a good diet, maybe using some coconut oil and some of these lotions/conditioners...etc. will leave you with hydrated, moisturized, healthy body :)

HYDRATING BODY WASHES
Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Nurturing Body Washing Cream
$22.00 from Kiehl's
I have not personally tried this because I'm a drugstore girl myself, but I have heard from numerous YouTubers and bloggers that this stuff is bomb. Some of the main ingredients listed on the Kiehl's website are glycerin, jojoba, and shea butter. It's similar to the St. Ives body wash above in the ingredients so I'd say you could probably get away with the drugstore option instead of paying $22 for this but I could be wrong. Just my opinion.
St Ives Indulgent Coconut Milk Body Wash
$3.99 at Target
I am currently using this in the shower and holy moly it's moisturizing! The bottle says it is made with creamy jojoba, shea, and cocoa butter. Is it just me or do you also think that you can't really get more hydrating than all of that?! My goodness. Those were the ingredients I was looking for and I couldn't believe it when I found them all in this one body was.
Score for me! And now you too.
HYDRATING BODY LOTIONS
Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula
with Vitamin E
$5.28 at Walmart
I am currently trying to finish a different lotion but I have used this in the past and will go back to using it ASAP. It's amazing and will leave your skin so silky and soft! I used the stretch mark version of this while I was pregnant with Charlotte and I definitely think it helped keep them at bay. This stuff is wonderful for winter. Plus I think it smells like cake so...you can't go wrong with cake lotion! ;)
Kiehl's Crème de Corps Whipped Body Butter
$38 from Kiehl's
Like I said, I am a drugstore girl so I have not used this. Maybe one day when I can justify spending $38 on a lotion (yikes! never? haha!)
But I have looked up reviews from Allure and from Youtubers and they are wonderful. Again, the ingredients include shea butter, jojoba, and beta-carotene so you know it is extremely moisturizing!
My name is Hannah and I'm a lucky wife to Tom, and mama bear to two sweet girls - Charlotte & Rosalie. Coffee, lipstick, sunshine, and dresses are some of my favorite things! I love to blog about God, motherhood, "wifeyhood", food, health and much more.
