Baby girl is almost there!
She is growing so rapidly now and is almost done in there finally!
Her fat layers, which will help her regulate her body temperature when she's born, are filling out. Her nervous system and lungs are maturing too! I'm breathing a sigh of relief this week. During my pregnancy with Charlotte I started having close, uncomfortable contractions around 32 weeks. I went to the hospital where they gave me an injection to stop the contractions and they never came back after that thank goodness! Being 34 weeks along now, baby could be born now with few complications if it came down to it. Of course she needs to stay in there a little longer but I'm happy to know she's safe!

I've gained about 2 lbs in the last two weeks. I'm happy the weight gain is slowing down a little! I'd love to not be quite so whale-like when I deliver this time. ;)
That brings my total weight gain to 27 lbs. Woo!
My body is PASSED maternity clothes. I just need to buy some bed sheets and cut holes for my neck and arms. That would be the most comfortable thing on the planet!! Haha I seriously wear huge leggings and dresses exclusively now.
If I wear anything else at all my lower stomach hurts soooo badly. Any kind of waist band just kills me. This baby sits so low in me and waist bands press on her and she presses back. So it's leggings at home and flowy (huge) dresses out. Or both sometimes. I also have exactly ONE shirt that fits over my belly. I've tried tucking shirts into whatever bottoms I'm wearing that day but they come untucked about 2 minutes later and then the whole grocery store it staring at half my stomach. Gahhhh. (Hence the dresses only.)
I definitely wake up a few times a night lately but thankfully I can usually get back to sleep fairly easily. Every once in a while though it's really hard and I'm laying awake for awhile. It has been pretty painful to turn from side to side though which I'll get into later in my "other symptoms" category.
